With a top NIH-ranked school of medicine seeking to grow its research staff, the strategic master plan acts as an existing space audit and a vision for the future. By mapping the locations of current researchers on campus, as well as regional connections to satellite campuses and other institutions, the school is able to gain a clearer, more strategic understanding of its needs and better plan for its future expansion.
My scope of work included generating graphics at the building, campus, and regional scale, both for inclusion in the final report and for client meetings throughout the process. Some of these graphics evolved into prototypical styles for use on future planning projects throughout the office.
